Here's our new BLOG

Jim and Robin have joined Blogspot's Blogger.

The summer is almost over, the nights are finally cooling off and it's time to come inside, sit at the computer and Post what we've been doing over the last few months.

French friends Sylvie and Lorenzo came to see us in April and we had so much fun together! It was his first trip to the USA and Lorenzo didn't get shot by any crazy Americans.

Mom (Tutu Jeppson) had a medium stroke in May, but she's now taking Coumadin and doing amazingly well. She was very lucky!

French student Bruno spent his second summer with us, practicing his English. By the time he left, he was correctly conjugating verbs and using the right pronouns. He's amazing!

Parisians Sylvie and Lorenzo came to the USA again in August. We went from San Diego to San Francisco including Napa Valley with lots of stops and adventures in-between.

For Labor Day, Robin went to Utah for the Parker / Jeppson Reunion - what a hoot! Marsha's whole family and spouses were there! Just wish more of the Jeppsons could have been there to enjoy all the reminiscing.

Thanks to Carole, Cindy and Maren, Robin has been learning how to play Mah Jong - the Chinese tile game. Betty Sue, Nan and another Carol have also joined in.

Galt and Lyne got married on October 11th at the Montelago Resort at Lake Las Vegas. What a destination wedding! The bride was beautiful, the groom was cool and confident and everyone had a great time!

On October 25, Jim and Robin went to Jim's 50th High School Reunion - in Glendale, Arizona. It was held at an old ranch that's been turned into a city park. The weather was a bit warm at the beginning (90 degrees) but cooled off quickly as soon as the sun went down. It was very interesting to see all these people we haven't seen since the 40th Reunion - some doing well and some looking really old!
